| | | Department was created in 1962. The first head of the bibliography department was Grigorievich Mongreshtern, doctor of pedagogical sciences, now professor, now head of the department of Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts. Margarita Christoforovna Kasatkina, Evgeniy Mihailovich Smirnov, Rimma Angorovna Modogoeva, candidates of pedagogical sciences, docents, were in charge of the department.
The graduate Galina Nikolaevna Shvetsova-Vodka, now doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor of Rovensk State Humanitarian University (Ukraine). Ekaterina Nikolaevna Berezhkova, graduate, candidate of pedagogical sciences, docent of Tumensk State Institute of Culture, taught at the department.
At the department there were worked out new approaches of teaching librarian work of the libraries, courses of specialization.
The department contributed much to research of book work of Buryatia: dissertations were defended, monographies published, selections of articles and etc.
Since the years 1990 librarians- bibliographers, regionists. They are wanted in the libraries, worked as professional. | |
