The department of variety band instruments was created in 1984 with the department of folk instruments, there was opened specialization "Director of independent variety band" and in 1988 was officially opened the department of variety and band instruments. From 1984-1995 at the department there worked leading professionals in music, pedagogists: Baneyev Yu.А., Morozov A.P., Lapa V.V., Belaventsev E.V. By the decision of the scientific council of ESSACA in 1999 it was reorganized into seperate department of "Variety band instruments", in 2004 the department of "Variety band instruments" was renamed into the department of "Music variety art".
On June 29 2005 licence was received to open the speciality: 051300 "Music art of variety", view: 01- Instruments of variety orchestra, qualification: 01 - concert performer, artist of orchestra, artist of ensemble, teacher. Conductor of variety orchestra.
During the period more than 150 specialists were trained - performers, teachers and directors of variety orchestras and ensembles, working not only in the Republic and in the region, but in the other regions and cities of Russia. Выпускники Graduates of the department work as artists in the professional variety orchestras and ensembles, teachers of art schools, directors of creative variety collectives.
Presently the department trains specialists, in full time and correspondence forms, on the following specialities: 051300 "Music art of variety" qualification given "Concert performer, artist of orchestra, artist of ensemble, teacher. Conductor of variety orchestra" and on the speciality: 053000 "National art" with qualification given "Art director of variety orchestra, teacher". Specialists are trained in saxophone, clarinet, flute, contra-bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, beat instruments, piano.
Basic directions of the creative work of the department:
At the department special attention is paid to concert work of the students variety jazz orchestra, the ensemble "Evergrin" and "jam" play constantly on the concert grounds of the city, recorded on TV and radio, participate in cutural activities of the city and Republic. The variety jazz orchestra and ensemble "Evergin" and "Jam" are laureates of interregional jazz festivals and contests of Ulan-Ude, Angarsk, Tinda, Irkutsk, Neryun gree, Chita. | |
